Hi.

I am trying to run ISC DHCP v2.0 (http://www.isc.org/products/DHCP)
atop YDL Champion Server 1.1. The compilation and installation of
the DHCP server seemed to go well. However, when I attempt to start
dhcpd, I receive an error concerning CONFIG_PACKET and CONFIG_FILTER.
The README accompanying the DHCP server states that I need to "edit
the linux kernel .config file, set CONFIG_PACKET=y and
CONFIG_FILTER=y, and rebuild the kernel" in order to fix this problem.

I currently have kernel 2.2.6-16bpmac. Can I pretty much follow the
Kernel HOWTO verbatim or are there special considerations associated
with the YDL release? Is there a YDL-specific document I should
reference? For what pitfalls should I look?

Thanks,
Donnell
