I still can't get the sound to work on my iMacDV. I've put 'alias sound
dmasound' in /etc/conf.modules and rebooted, and rebooted, and
rebooted. The sound still doesn't work. The sound is working in MacOS
but it won't work under linux. Just out of curiosity, does there need
to be anything in /dev/audio? I can't shake the feeling that I'm
overlooking something really obvious...
