Hi, I have tried to install YDL 1.2 on a G3 in order to run some tests, to verify if its worth buying a G3 or G4 and put linux on it. But I have had alot of trouble with the particular G3 and I am running out of time, since I must decide before the end of this month!!!!!.
So I ask someone that has YDL running in either a G3 or G4 to lend me a telnet acount so I run the test. The test consists in compiling a program, running it, checking some times, deleting the program.
As for my background, I am a Masters in Telecommunications student in Monterrey Tec, working with the computer sciences dept. on this project. So I DO NOT plan to destory your G4. I only need about a week. Could someone help.
