Hi guys,
I'm trying to get YDL working on a pismo 500/256. The
installation went perfectly, but I ran into a problem trying to start
X. I currently have X set up with the Powerbook 1999 profile to try
8, 16, and 24 bits at 640x480, 800x600, and 1024x768, all of which
the pismo monitor supports. However, when i run startx, a bunch of
stuff scrolls down the screen which I don't have time to read, then
it sort of looks like X is starting up, but all I get is a black
background and a blue rectangle in the foreground. No mouse, no way
out...oh yeah, there is also a white strip across the middle of the
screen that appears to let me see through to the text interface that
I left behind. Do I need a monitor profile for a pismo specifically?
Or does someone have the specs so I can hack the configuration file?
Maybe I need to add a kernel argument? YDL does, incidentally, seem
to recognize my graphics hardware specs correctly. Any help would be
appreciated.

Many Thanks,
Seth Block
