Subject: afterstep help

I am debating weather or not to ditch helix gnome, and sawfish for
something else... like afterstep. But I cant seem to get it installed,
there is a README for linux/ppc but it is very vauge and offers no help to
me, if anybody can offer directions on running afterstep from scratch I
would be greatly appreciative.
