Ok - since I didn't get any help last posting, I'm trying again ;-)

I _just_ re-reinstalled YDL 1.2 on my Sawtooth AGP G4/450 - worked
fine. I could boot into linux and run most needed things.

I then ran YUP and pulled down all of the latest updates. Again,
worked fine - all packages seemed to update.

I _then_ copied the latest kernel vmlinux to my boot partition
(renaming it vmlinux as needed) - this is the kernel build
2.2.17-0.6.1.

Booting to this kernel, my usb keyboard is not recognized; I cannot
type at the login prompt. If I boot to "install" instead, the install
program does not recognize my keyboard.

I can fail back to the older kernel, but then all the package
dependencies fail as expected.

Please help!!! Is there some keyboard file I need to change to get
the kernel to see my USB keyboard? (This is the standard Apple USB
keyboard that shipped with the older G4s. I've swapped the hockey
puck for a Contour 3-button Unimouse.)

Thanks!
