I cannt get YDL 1.2.1 to install on a dual G4 450.

Here are my specs:
256 megs of RAM
20 gig hard drive on the master IDE
10 gig on slave IDE

I am trying to install Linux on the master drive. The problem is I
select all the packages to install and when I get into Linux the system
hangs or freezes while making the EXT 2 file system.

I know that LInux on the dual g4 is experimental and I am also booting
using yaboot. I am using champion server 1.2.1. Any ideas?
