Thanks everybody,
what I'm trying to do is password-protect a *directory* and check users
against the db. I've been using PHP authentication methods for particular
pages for some time, but I never found out a way to protect a whole
directory, other than the .htaccess method, that is. If someone has a way to
use .htaccess with a php script, please post it!
