Go to http://ppclinux.apple.com/~benh
The kernels there are pre-compiled and just get it and the modules, and
also if you have a usb mouse you need to get:
ftp://dev.linuxppc.org/users/fsirl/R5/RPMS/ppc/dev-2.7.18-3b.ppc.rpm
install that and also check out:
http://www.cloud13.com/ppc/stuff/XF86Config
that config file along with dev-2.7..... will get you the ability to use
a usb mouse and the trackpad at the same time, you also can plug or unplud
it at any time!
