On a 6500/300, with an ATI Rage Pro Video and Farallon 10/100 NIC,
otherwise stock.
1. The BootX extension (1.2.3 I think) causes a debugger break at
boot time. I figured this one out, but it would sure stop a newbie in
his/her tracks.
2. The real problem is that when running the X11 installer, after
having picked "workstation (recommended)," and during the phase where
it is "transferring packages," after it has resolved dependencies,
there is a sudden dialog that says:
Error running transaction set.
Please correct this manually (which leads to "package installed failed")
Um... how?
