I can also verify that there appears to be no way around it. I've now
tried the minimum install. I've tried a custom install. I've tried
the text install. I've even tried a second install CD I have. Always
same result.

So, I say to Terrasoft: I didn't buy support, so I'm limited to this
list. I have a YDL 2.1 that will not install on a supported system
(6500). I respectfully request that you provide a satisfactory
solution (a reasonably prompt and workable fix, a refund, your
choice).
