Subject: USB floppy support?

I've Googled around and searched the yellowdog-general archives, but I
can't find an answer. How can I mount a floppy in my USB floppy
drive? I am running the 2.4 kernel that came with the YDL 2.1 distro,
and my floppy drive is the VST iMac model.
If I could get this working, it would be one less reason to boot into
MacOS. I'm aspiring to sainthood in the Church of Emacs. That floppy
drive icon in the upper-left corner of my KDE screen looks so
tempting...
