Subject: 2.4 Kernel on G3 Powerbook

I installed YDL 2.1 as an upgrade to 2.0, on a Wallstreet.
It broke ppp, pcmcia and pmud.
I installed the 2.2.19 kernel rpm from the 2.1CD, and rebooted with it.
Pmud and ppp immediately worked again, but I haven't managed to fix pcmcia.
I backlevelled it to the version on the 2.0 CD, since the new one said it required a >2.4.3 kernel
Any suggestions on that are welcome.
Does anyone have YDL 2.1 or even just a 2.4.* kernel running properly on a Wallstreet?
