My 2¢ on YDL and OSX:

I use both. I have OSX installed on my 266Mhz iMac (and it is painfully
slow at times.) and I am running YDL 2.0 on a 7300/200. I find that the
YDL box is my "classroom" where I spend most of my energy learning the ins
and out's of the *NIX OS. I don't get much day to day work done on it but
that is due, in large part, to my inexperience with Linux. THe OSX box is
being used for my general computer work. I have found that I am blurring
the line between the two more and more as I approach the OSX box from it's
BSD side.

I think YDL is a great "waste" of my time. I do feel like, for every X
steps forward, I take X+N steps back. (Where N is ≥ 0) But N is gradually
approaching X.

Has anyone ever noticed that the KeyCaps icon looks like a VCR tape when
viewed as a small icon?
