When I have it as:

mach_options= "single"

MkLinux booter says:

mach_options "single"

When I have:

mach_options= single

MkLinux booter says:

mach options (blank space)

but both boot to the cycling text/ X login.

Right ... I figure ssh and telnet are installed in YDL (default
Home/Office install) but I have never done anything to configure them
or ever used them.
