Subject: Modem/YDL2.1/iMac woes

Hello
I have finished the installation of YDLv2.1 on my iMac (DVSE 500MHz, 384
Mb of RAM). The installation itself went very smoothly. I am new to
Linux and I am very impressed.
However I am having a very fustrating time to get my modem to work. I
start kppp to set up the the modem and to configure the connection.
Setting up the modem leads to an autodetection and a complete freeze of
the machine.
Same problem when using the other software (called Dial-up
configuartion??).
Could anyone help me?
