I don't think an Old World ROM Style mac will let you do that as the New
World ROM's are loaded into ram on boot. Our ROM are on a chip on the MB. So
hence the dual boot scenario. The mac has to boot to MAC OS then it switches
to Linux OS....The B/W macs G3's will boot solely on A LinuxPPC distro...or
so I'm told
