further along;
1. Any reason you're working w/ YDL 2.0 instead of 2.1?
2. IIRC, this has been covered before. Did you search the archives?

Hi,
can anyone give me a hand. I'm trying to install YDL 2.0 on my beige G3
desktop (233/96mb/4gb). I think i've followed the installation docs
correctly. I've formatted the entire drive, partitioned the drive into a
HFS
drive and 2.5gb's of unallocated memory. Reinstalled the MacOS (8.1) and
then installed bootx. But when i choose lunix from the bootx control
panel
after restart i get a brief glimpse of white text on a black background
before the screen goes blank. The CD spins for a while aferwards but
that's
about all that happens.
Has anyone had similar problems with the same Mac ?
Any help would be appreciated.
