IIRC, there *WAS* a BootX issue after upgrading from MacOS 9.0 to 9.1,
but that it was resolved. Unfortunately, I don't remember *HOW* it was
installed. Maybe a newer/patched BootX? Anyone remember?

I read that (bootX not working on post OS9.0) on the Suse site. Maybe
that's
wrong, I'm not sure I'm ever going to get this thing working. It must
surely
be a 5500 specific problem then, and besides, I have an identical
problem to
others who wrote to the list, no-one replied to those questions though.
