Cannot connect to server

I have not been able to connect ot YDL server via OSX. I can connect
using OS 9.2 fine and sign in as normal user and disk appears on
desktop. In OSX i get message server unexpectedly closed down. Any
clues why one connects and another doesn't. All other network services
work fine Telnet, FTP, HTTP.
