Subject: 1024x768 on Apple Studio 17" display. Solved!

Hello everyone,
I FINALLY managed to get X working in 1024x768 mode on my Apple Studio 17"
display, although there are still some problems (a few pixels on the left
edge of the screen get lopped off) ... but fonts look MUCH better at this
resolution. Anyway ... for anyone interested, here is the Modline for your
XF86Config4 file:
# Apple 17 inch Studio modes
Modeline "1024x768" 112.62 1024 1024 1264 1420 768 768 780 804
+HSync +VSync
Modeline "1280x1024" 134.989 1280 1317 1429 1688 1024 1025 1028 1066
+HSync +VSync
The above settings for 1024x768 are at 99Hz and a dot clock of 112.62.
If anyone manages to fix the pixel problem on the left edge, I would love to
hear from you.
