I assume that BenH will import the mainline kernel changes, or that the
iBook audio stuff will eventually get imported into mainline ...

So all will be good eventually. :-)

If folks are comfortable building kernels, then by all means - try a new
one, see if it heals what ails you. But if you aren't comfortable
experimenting I'd probably just wait a bit longer. :-)
