I did a clean reinstall of CS 1.2.1 and did:
ifconfig eth0 63.xxx.xxx.xx netmask 255.255.255.0 up
then:
route add default deafult gw 63.xxx.xxx.xx dev eth0
then I did:
/etc/rc.d/init.d/network restart
and it gave me:
Bringing up interface eth0 eth0 PHY reset timeout
eth0 WARNING ! can't find PHY
I have NO idea what this means.
I checked all those config files, and everything looks good.
Any ideas?
