go into text mode or ctr-alt-f3 and login as root. then type linuxconf. no
goto client server tasks and basic host information and configure your
network card. this is the very easy way to do this. im not sure what module
the macintosh loads but in now i helped another guy awhile ago and should be
able to found in prior threads. just search for dsbelile. here is the thread
