This is getting to be frustrating. All I want to do is upgrade to 1.2.1 so
that I can see if the ATI Rage 128 Pro support in the latest versions is
better than in 1.2.

Is there no way to supply the damned FTP server and path to the Red Hat
installation program to upgrade to 1.2.1 using the installer?! This is
standard practice with the Red Hat x86 distribution. Can it not be done
with YDL?

......

If this is not possible, then *please*, someone tell me what the preferred
method for upgrading YDL 1.2 to 1.2.1 (and buying the damned CD doesn't
count!).

Interestingly, though CS 1.2.1 has been "released", I see no "CS 1.2.1"
directory on ftp.yellowdoglinux.com. So where is the mystery release?

I see that this URL:

ftp://ftp.yellowdoglinux.com/pub/yellowdog/champion-1.2/updates/ppc/RPMS/

has what appear to be updates to YDL 1.2 to make it 1.2.1. At least the
newer kernel is there.

Is this the "1.2.1 upgrade"? If so, then shall I assume that to upgrade
the steps are as simple as download those RPMs, and install them with rpm
-Uhv *?

I don't find any instructions online about upgrading from 1.2 to 1.2.1. I
swear this is like pulling teeth.
