Well, I am planning to write some survey software in JSP w/ perhaps
Postgresql or mysql as backends, but that won't happen in the short run.
I wrote some very snazzy software for ASP, but it has two drawbacks:
no user interface & ASP makes *far* too many weird errors to be
practical for academic surveying. The errors seem to have been rooted
in something like memory leaks.
If you do find something useful out there, I'd be interested in hearing
about it.
