Hmm. I also bought my iMac DV in December 1999, and it came with an ATi 128
Rage Pro card, the acceleration of which is not supported by X 3.3.8 (or
whatever the version number is) that (I seem to remember) comes with YDL CS
1.2.1. The YDL installer recognized the card, and recognized it was
accelerated, but its configuration of the Config file was screwy; it didn't run
X. I ran XConfigurator and it didn't recognize the acceleration but X works.
My feeling is that I will have to go to X 4.01 for full support.
