Hmmm... I have no vmlinux sym-link in /. The only vmlinux sym-link I have
is the one in /boot/. The /boot/vmlinux sym-links are as follows:

    vmlinux -> vmlinux-2.2.17-0.6.1
    vmlinux-2.2.17-0.6.1
    vmlinux-2.2.17-0.6.1smp
    vmlinux-smp -> vmlinux-2.2.17-0.6.1smp

I was under the impression that the following line in my yaboot.conf file
points to the vmlinux sym-link in the /boot/ folder:

    image = hd:8,\vmlinux

Is that not the case?

I'll go ahead and add a sym-link at / to point to /boot/vmlinux-2.2.17-0.6.1
and see if that gets the ball rolling.
