Subject: G3 466MHz iBook + YDL1.2 install

When booting with the YDL1.2 CD #1 in the dvd-rom, and holding C, the kernel
starts to load, and then before I can read the last line the computer shuts
off. I've searched yellowdoglinux.com for reasons why/fixes, but have yet to
find any, and given that it's 4am, I'm done for the night. Can anyone point
me in the direction of some text on how to fix the problem or atleast a
reason as to why this is happening? I'm linux "profecient".. been in
slackware for over 2 years now, but I just got an iBook and this is my first
attempt at linux on a mac. Thanks
