My yaboot.conf file for the default kernel is as follows:

image = hd:8,vmlinux
label = linux
root = /dev/hda13
append = "video=aty128fb:vmode:17"

I've tried every hd:X from 1 to 14. As I said before I have no swap
partition, but I didn't think it was necessary. Why does your
yaboot.conf file say hdb? What's the difference?
