I discovered that glibc was trashed due to a corrupted
filesystem. I did an fsck and fixed stuff and reinstalled
        glibc.

Now, however, I get "Kernel panic: No init found."

This seems *worse* than before since now it can't even find
        init! Any ideas?

Yes, in BootX, I am pointing / at the right place /dev/hda10
since that is my / partition. Yes, /sbin/init *is* there. I
wond't understand why ther kernel can't find it.
