Hard Network Things.

Well, I've gotten another IP address from my cable provider to run
the YDL server on. I've also got my other ISP providing DNS service
and pointing several domains at it. I made a few tentative stabs at
configuring it, but panicked when it didn't work and hastily reset
everything to its original condition. -=8-0

As those of you who've bailed me out before know [you know who you
are ;-) ], I've got a Mac running IPNetRouter as the current internet
gateway, and the YDL machine is currently configured with a non-DNS
hostname and a 192.168.X.X IP address.

Now, the YDL machine has (or it will after I make the changes) its
own externally visible IP and is still connected via the ethernet hub.

I know this is a big question, but where do I get started making the changes?

New IP address <--
Several domain names <--
no local DNS <--
connected via 10T to internal network and cable modem <--

Time to drink from the fire hose again.... ;-)

Thanks!

Best regards,
