Somewhere along the line I've screwed up my configuration.

I log into my account -- my window manager is enlightenment (with gnome).

I do stuff... have a few applets running, yada yada, and then I log out...

But I never get GDM back. I just sit there for all eternity with the X
background (you know, that hatched, b&w background) and have to switch to a
different terminal to reboot (or kill X and restart it).

I receive an error when I switch terminals saying something to the effect
that "gdm has been mysteriously killed".

Any ideas as to what is happening?
