Hi all-

Hoping to get some help from someone who has successfully installed
Icecast and LiveIce on Yellow Dog CS 1.2.1.

I've been following the MP3 HOW-TO on the Red Hat site. Looks like
Icecast is running correctly. When I start LiveIce, Icecast responds
with "Accepted Encoder", but LiveIce just hangs on

    connection successful: forking process

and never proceeds to

    opening pipe!...
    (etc.)

I'm completely stumped. Feels like everything's in order... Any thoughts?

A few other questions as well:

1) Has anyone compiled Shout on PPC? Looks like all of the RPMs out
there are for Linux/i386 only. I couldn't get the source from
icecast.org to compile.
2) What does it take to get Linux to recognize the soundcard in my
B&W G3? I'd love to do live broadcasts with LiveIce.

Thanks for your help!
