Any ideas on this one? I installed YDL 2.0 on a 6500/225 upgraded to a
400 G3, 1MB backside cache, 128Mb ram. Mac OS 9.1 resides on a 4gig
Seagate SCSI drive, YDL is installed on a 3Mb IDE drive (original for
the machine). If I boot into Linux (BootX, latest from the YDL site)
using the 225mhz processor, everything is fine (at least as fine as a
603e with no L2 cache could be). If I change the file type on the
Sonnet extension, as per several messages on the list a while ago, and
use the G3, the system will not boot. I get a hda:interrupt lost
repeater. I'm using the stock kernel for 2.0, 2.2.19-1 I believe. I
saw some messages concerning this problem doing a search of the
archives. Would it be worth trying to go to a 2.4 kernel, or would I
just be wasting my time? Any help, please? I'm falling asleep watching
KDE load.

Thanks in advance,
Carl Kehley
