Now that I have bootX installed (thanks Richard M.) I am having a new
problem installing the packages.

The cdrom is recognized when booting, but when the package installation is
supposed to take place the crdom never reads its as if the cdrom was never
mounted. I receive many fatal errors about not being able to find this or
that at which point I abort the install. I have tried each different
pacakge install with no luck.

I found a similar problem in the archives with no answer.
