Question...

I am running a default install on YDL 2.0 on a G4 Cube.

AFPd is running fine, and Mac OS 9.X clients can connect without an
issue.

Mac OS X 10.0.4 & 10.1 however doesn't allow the drive to be shared.

I can authenticate, and I get a drive list to mount... but when the
mount is actually attempted, the computer reports that the drive
disconnects.

The linux box also does not show up in the AppleTalk browser... so I
connect by afp://ipaddress.of.machine.

Any help would be appreciated.
