Brian,

I don't know how, but I do know that there have been several long
threads regarding getting those three to compile and play well together.
I'd start by searching the archives. Also, a lot of people like webmin
for a configuration gui.

Pete

Ok, I guess i'm stupid. I've put every command and "httpd" entry I
can locate into the terminal window and all I get is either "no such
file or directory".

Want to run Apache, MySQL and PHP, but can't get past the KDE desktop
and a terminal emulator window.

I've read through the Yellow Dog instructions, the KDE Manual, the
Apache site and several sites for beginning Linux. Is there a secret
code book somewhere that tells how to mount all of this stuff? Do I
need to join some secret society that swears off all Microsoft
products? OK, I'll do that.

But so far all I have is a cute desktop OS that doesn't do anything
my Mac won't do.

Any suggestions on source material.
