A direct email to Ben produced the desired result in 24 hours! Now
my machine runs 24 times faster!! Yes! 24x!! I have some L2 cache
on order and am looking for a small performance boost from that too!
I just won't know my machine. If you have an old 603e based powermac
then it will dual boot and run surprisingly quick using BootX version
1.2.1 or 1.2.2 _ which are available from Ben Herrenschmidt's page.
contact me if you want an exact address. The complete package is 1.7
megabytes (as a 'sit' file).
