I am in the process of moving to Linux for many reasons. I have one
question left before my company can start to make the move.

I need to know if a specific machine can run Yellow Dog. Not just run but
install "out of the box". Well...Fairly close to "out of the box". I don't
mind making a few changes here and there.

Machine 1
PowerMac 8600 w/ G3 upgrade

Machine 2
PowerMac 8600 w/ G3 upgrade
3rd party USB PCI card
3rd party ATA controller PCI card
