Earlier this year I waited several weeks for the 2.0 CD to be
released just so I could pay for it so Terrasoft would get the money
(and the retail distributor as well).

I also paid extra for tech support, knowing that Terrasoft could use
the money and I want to see the company stay around for awhile.

But the tech support sucked so heavily that in the end it was not usable:
(1) Frequently there were days went by between my question and the
answer. Note: It is impossible to do an install when stuck on a
problem and one has to wait days for a response. If the computer in
question is the user's only computer and it is stuck mid-install a
long response period is simply unacceptable.
(2) There was no way to reply to the answer when it was so unclear as
to elicit more questions in response.
(3) One answer I got was just plain wrong - I know it was wrong
because when I forwarded it to Kai he responded with "NO NO NO!
[...]" - but assumed it was me who was lame.
(4) The text entry box on the web site was about 5cm square. Yeah, we
can work around that but it sure is annoying when one is already
having a technical problem of some other sort.

So now I get to pay for an upgrade?
Yeah, I probably will, because I still want to see you guys stick around.

But I won't pay for the lousy tech support anymore.

You guys ought to take a lesson from BareBones.
