I know this been hashed lots of times on this list but...
(just cant get it to work right)

My partitions looks like this:
/dev/hda1-6 various Apple hfs/drivers partitions

/dev/hda7 == Apple Bootstrap (50Mb)
/dev/hda8 == Linux swap (370Mb)

/dev/hda9-10 various Apple drivers partitions

/dev/hda11 == Linux ext2 (giant 5280 Mb partition as / )

This was made from YDL2.0 Install-cd, without a hitch.
Booted from the cd, choosed custom install, etc.

When booting into hd:7,\\:tbxi -- i.e.
GNU/Linux menu pressing key m boots into Mac OS (9.2.1 swe)
                            pressing key l boots into Yaboot 1.1.1 menu

OK! What exactly do I type at the yaboot prompt boot:
to boot into YDL2.0

Examples that dont work:
boot: hd:7,yaboot hd:7,\yaboot hd:7,\\yaboot
           hd:7,yaboot.tbxi hd:7,\yaboot.tbxi hd:7,\\yaboot.tbxi
changing 7 to 11

boot: hd:11,/vmlinux root=/dev/hda11 ro
            hd:11,/vmlinux-2.2.19-1k root=/dev/hda11 ro

or things like

boot: hd:7,\\:tbxi;11/boot/vmlinux
            {hd:7,\\:tbxi;}11/boot/vmlinux
or variations on suggestions from yaboot-menu on the theme,
{prom_path;}part_no/path to kernel/image/device???

If somebody has ideas I'd like to hear them

Cheers Max!
