I would think at least some of those would work. There are drivers for
various things (USB, Firewire) in the x86 kernel tree. Now weather or not
they work in the ppc tree is a whole different story.

What I like to do is have a small (say 1-2 Gig) partition that's formatted
HFS (not HFS+) that I can mount from linux. Works fine, so long as you
don't need anything on the HFS+ drives.
