It's not the mouse. That I know for a fact (I've tried their optical
mouse under linux).

The keyboard, on the other hand- may have some keytable problems. But
at worst, it should boot with no way to log in.

Even when usb keyboards aren't properly recognized under X they
frequently still work command line- but not always...
