When in this position a while back I just said no - a search on the net
showed FP to be a security minefield.

What do they want to use FP for? Publishing to the server? If so, the
correct method to use is DAV. A module exists for Apache, it works
really well. DAV is "FP v2", a proper standard, supported by Internet
Explorer v5.5 and I'm told Win2k, Office2k and FP2k.
