Subject: Airport Yet Again

I know this has been on the list a few times but I'm looking for some idiot proof directions, instructions hints....
It's been a while since I've been involved with the PPC variants of linux and would like to have YDL 1.2 on my iMacDV with airport. It currently has YDL and OS 9.0.4 and runs airport under 9.0.4. Before the question is asked I don't' have access to ethernet anywhere close to my computer and even my 100' ethernet cable won't reach so I'm trying to get Airport going under 1.2 without network access (i.e. I can't r-sync kernels files from the YDL side)
Any ideas? Can it be done?
