hi,
        your BootX extension should be placed in your extensions folder in
the System folder on your HD. No other mac extensions have anything to
do with the Linux installation. Make sure your linux kernel is inside a
folder called "Linux Kernels" in the system folder. Also, when booting
up choose the correct ramdisk for installing. It should automatically
shut down the mac os then and restart linux. If u are using a radeon
card then you might have to wait for a updated kernel from ydl. BootX
works fine for me on a beige on 9.2.1 Good luck with the install : )
