Subject: Installation woes on both YDL 2 and Mandrake PPC 8

It seems that during the install when it gets to the package install section
the system seems to start reading the cdrom and chugging away on the hard
drive, then the cdrom stops and the mouse stops moving and the software
seems to halt. No error messages, no nothing ... just a silent system with a
screen still showing the install window. I checked for the num-lock thing
(sorry, windows PC user most of life) and it still lights up and off so I
don't think the hardware (system) is frozen ... just the app. The funny part
is that it does this on both YDL 2 and Mandrake PPC 8. Both in the same
place and both show the same symtoms.
Any ideas??
