I'm no proggie, but there are issues with hardware
compatibility that the YD team could not possibly
forsee - namely the switching of components for the
sake of saving money or increasing profits & firmware
and SW 'upgrades'- also known as 'updates'.
I got my YD for free - and from the install guide and
from postings, it's clear to me that YD is optimized
for 'New World' Macs but even that is no guarantee of
install success.
