Subject: Installation Problem on Separate HD

Hello there. I have a G4. I just installed YDL on a 20 GB drive. I
formatted that 20 GB drive with 1 partition and made the type "unallocated".
I successfully installed YDL, but when I went to restart back in Mac OS
9.2.1 the disk did not mount on my hard drive, and thus I am unable to
restart into YDL.
My question is: is the problem that I did not format the disk as HFS?
